Core Migration is looking for a QA Tester.
Title: QA Tester
Contract Length 1 Year +
Location of work: Kanata, ON
Language Requirement: English
Responsibilities:
Collect performance testing requirements and build test plans
Identify, track and verify the resolution of issues through to the end of the bug lifecycle
Write test plans and test cases based on requirements
Participate in test case execution & documentation of results
Clarify issues and provide detailed information when necessary
Write reports and summaries as required during each test cycle
Mandatory Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
Experience testing Business applications
Experience testing WPF applications
Experience creating test plans for WPF applications
Experience creating test cases based on requirements
Experience executing test cases (manual and automated)
Experience performing regression testing
Strong knowledge in test tools
Experience creating user guides and user training documentation
Experience with performance and load testing
University degree/College diploma or 5yr experience in a related discipline
Strong customer service skills, a go-getter attitude with willingness to learn and grow
Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects with varying technical environments
Ability to manage your time effectively
Ability to work in a team oriented environment to coordinate and complete projects
Detail Orientated
Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office and tools
Minimum 2 Yrs experience as a QA tester
